Benefits Of A Chemical Maintenance Program
Utilizing Landworks’ chemical maintenance program ensures that your turf receives the right nutrients at the right time for optimal growth and health. Lawns and landscapes need fertilization to maintain vigor, fight off diseases and discourage pests. Improving the root system and building adequate food reserves creates beautiful results for your plants and turf.
Beyond expanding the root system and helping to build food reserves, lawn fertilizer service improves overall plant health for better resistance to both heat and cool-weather fungus diseases.
Lawn fertilizer service from Landworks can also help prevent crabgrass. Crabgrass grows well in hot, dry conditions and poor soil like so much of what we have in Johnson County, KS. So well, in fact, that it will get the upper hand on turfgrasses that are under heat stress. This means that one of the best ways to keep crabgrass at bay is to ensure that your soil is nutrient-rich and your lawn is lush and green.
Landworks’ landscaping services can include optional grub control with our lawn fertilizer service. You may see areas of turf becoming thin and yellow, or irregular brown patches may appear in the summer as the grubs feed. This means that preventative grub control with lawn fertilizer service is much better than waiting until the damage is done. We apply grub control in July when the grubs are most susceptible to insecticide. This ensures that your grub problem is under control before visible damage is done to your property.
A lawn fertilizer service plan is an essential part of a comprehensive commercial lawn care program. Not only is a well-fertilized lawn healthier and greener, but it is also far better at preventing weed infestation, disease, and drought.
